The given table illustrates the expenditure of persons on many items such as food, clothing, and leisure in five countries during 2002.
Overall, it is noticed the highest spending for Turkish people is on food. While the Spanish people spent the least expenditure on education.
The Irish people spent 28.91% for food, 6.43% for clothing, and 2.21% for education. Furthermore, the Italian nation spent 16.36% percent on food, which was approximately half of consumer expenditure for Spain. In addition, the Spanish persons spent 9%, and 3.2% on clothing, and leisure respectively. Moreover, the Swedish consume their money with 15.77% on food. Whereas 3.22% of their expenditure spent on education. Lastly, the Turkish spent the most of their spending was for education. To sum up, the people in five countries spent the most of their income on food. However, the least expenditure for people in the five countries spent for leisure or education.
