Both maps below illustrate the same island, before and after the construction of tourist facilities.
Before the construction started, the island only consists of nature – trees and a beach. Not a single infrastructure was built on the island, or the sea. However, tourist facilities were brought up into the island, as seen on the ‘after map’. Plenty of buildings were built to accommodate tourists; such as accommodations, restaurant, and a reception. Tourists could easily find the reception, as it is placed in front next to the pier. The reception is surrounded by accommodations to its left and right side. Also, the restaurant is located behind the reception and next to the sea.
In addition, a large pier was constructed to increase accessibility for tourists to be able to travel to the island. Before, there were not any trails to travel around the island; hence, footpaths and vehicle tracks were built for tourists to roam around with ease. Moreover, travellers are welcomed to swim at the beach located on the west side of the island.
Overall, many infrastructures were introduced after the island was open to tourists. Tourists could now easily travel to and around the island. Not only that there are facilities, activity for tourists are also available to enjoy.
