You recently read an article in a newspaper about someone you know personally. You found some information is wrong. Write a letter to inform him about it. Use the following points.
1. What is the article about?
2. What is the error?
3. What you expect the editor to do?
Write not less than 150 words.
Dear Sir,
I am writing to let you know that the recent publication you did on Times Magazine concerning the biography of James Tabot had an error.
Let me explain the mistake in details. You wrote the biography of a famous musician and song writer James Tabot who was loved by both the old and the young but you omitted when he actually began his musical career. As you rightly published in the newspaper, he was born in Buea, 1965 and did his primary until university education in Yaounde where he obtained a bachelor degree in music and contemporary arts. You pointed out that he began his music career in 2015 but that is not correct as he actually started in 2012 and got a hit song in 2015.
Since your magazine is being read by a wide range of audience, could you please correct the date he actually began his music career while also mentioning when he became known worldwide. It would be ethical when the corrected version is published without any misleading information.
Thanks for your understanding.
Yours faithfully,
Martin Oben
