Work is being done on the street where you live. The noise is disturbing you.
Write a letter of complaint to your local council. In your letter,
A)Introduce yourself,
B)Explain what the problem is,
C)Suggest solutions to the problem
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my concern over the noise pollution being created due to the maintenance work on the street.
My name is Jessica Ayri. A resident of Spring park since a decade. My house number is 135 and it is situated right beside the garden near to the grocery.
Unfortunately, since few days there has been immense noise on the street across my house. As per my inquiry, I got to know that there is a maintenance work going on for the gas pipeline installation. Due to the work in late night hours, my kids are not able to sleep and their routine is disturbed. Also, the workers create noise unnecessarily during their break time. I had spoken to the project manager who is incharge of the site but they are not co-operative.
Also, I would like to request, if you could personally come and visit the place during their operation hours. However, if you are unable to come, I will appreciate if you can send them a legal warning notice for disturbing a residential area during midnight.
Looking forward to seeing your prompt response.
Yours faithfully,
Jessica Ayri
