You are looking for an apartment to rent in a certain neighborhood.
Write a letter to a friend who lives in that neighborhood. In your letter
- explain why you want to live in that neighborhood.
- describe the type of apartment you are looking for.
- ask your friend to help you find an apartment.
Dear John,
It's been a long time since we last met. Hope you are doing good!
I heard that you have moved to a new neighborhood in Des Plaines, Illinois. I am actually writing to inform you that I'm also planning to switch my apartment and have shortlisted your society for the same. I have been to your society only once to drop off a colleague who also lives there. I found the area to be well-maintained, beautiful, and only a 10-minute drive away from my office. I have also heard the rents there are a lot cheaper than my current society in Buffalo Group.
I am looking for a one-bedroom apartment, preferably to be shared by one more person, as I am currently saving to fund my higher studies. As you know, I met with an accident last month and still recovering, I would prefer a first floor apartment. This would spare me the trouble of climbing up and down the stairs with my healing leg.
I would really appreciate if you could help me find an apartment in your society, either by contacting your leasing office or asking a friend for any vacancy. Also, If you are free this Saturday, I can come over and we can hunt for the apartment together.
Thank you in advance and look forward to hearing back from you.
Best Regards,
Paul
