Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,
tell him which team won
describe the conditions on the day
say how you felt about the match
Write at least 150 words.
Dear Jake,
I hope you are recovering and doing better now. I will come to meet you tomorrow. Today's match was a great success. Yes, we won it. It was an unexpected victory for our team. There was a sudden downpour in the midst of the match. We were neck to neck and there was much uncertainity throughout the match as both the teams were playing tremendously well.
As we were nearing the end, we scored a perfect goal that completed the match fetching us with the victory. It was truly a do or die match We were receiving constant support from the audience throughout the match. Their encouragement boosted up our confidence levels to the highest. We have been awarded with certificates and cash price for the great achievement. All of us felt thrilled and exited playing this match. We were literally on cloud nine.
The only disappointment was your absence. Our whole team missed you terribly. But, we made sure we won the match. We thought this would be the best possible gift we can owe you. Don't worry, we will definitely rock again for the next match with you. Love you always. Stay happy and see you soon.
Yours lovingly,
Krithika.
