How does the information in the listening passage add to the ideas presented in the reading passage?
the reading and lecture are both about students teaching methods, which explains how to teach students? The author of the reading believes that the conventional way of teaching in schools is running wrong, moreover, parents have to act as an instructor to their kids along with other responsibilities in the family. the lecturer opposes claims made in the article. he thinks traditional teaching way has more benefits than homeschooling.
first of all, the author points out that the curriculum in school is inappropriate and not so well organized.it is mentioned that this can limit student’s opportunities in top universities moreover it will harm their job competition in the future. this point is challenged by the lecturer, he says some curriculum is challenging, but it will be helpful and important for students. furthermore, she argues that the standard curriculum is designed by the education department in a way to assist students in their studying.
secondly, the author contends that the transition from is growing. the article notes homeschooling has benefits like kids will have strong bonds between themselves and parents, in addition to that parent is feeling grateful and good when the kids learn and grows. the lecturer rebuts this argument. He suggests spending a lot of time with kids does not have a good future. He elaborates on this by mentioning that kids are growing up with parents will not be socialized with their peers in future life.
finally, the author states that students do not feel safe in school. the article establishes that some students are becoming victims of bullying and harassment in school. the lecturer, on the other hand, posits that these situation is happening, even though nobody does like them. He puts forth the idea that as an adult you have to deal with it because sometimes these things might be happening in life.
