Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to draw your attention towards outdated computer equipment in Artificial Intelligence lab.
Now-a-days, AI is the most cutting edge technology in the market, and getting a chance to learn it that too on campus is truly a blessing because I am extremely passionate about it. It will surely put us ahead in the competition when students will apply for employment on competing this course.
However, it is extremely difficult to work with outdated computer accessories as the course demands more advance devices to process complex algorithm, which is a crucial part of learning. As a result, our hands-on practice is severely hampering so we tried to discuss the issue with resource management. Unfortunately, department is struggling with scarcity of fund, as informed by the head of department.
Nevertheless, many business organization, especially in IT sector, usually deprecate their equipment after certain life cycle, which could be of huge help for our college. We can contact them and request them to donate or sale at minimal price that our college can afford.
I look forward to hearing from you and your active involvement in the problem.
Yours faithfully,
Sandip Ramani
