The diagram opposite shows how a thermos flask works
A breakdown of thermos decanter’s parts one by one in order to organize heat temperature is elucidated in the diagram. Obviously, within 30-40 cm in length ,the thermos section depicted from the neck to the top made by one type of material only, while the other part consists of several layers of heat retaining.
The explanation begins with a thermos lid and stopper just below it made of plastic, when sometimes steam disappears between those parts. The last part is the jar flask that can be made by either a plastic or a metal.
Apart from those, the hot water storage section consists of outer flask and vacuum chamber. Areas that close to the vacuum are the bad conductors so that heat is not delivered to outside and stays in the thermos. Additionally, water container is made by glass coated with silver as a barrier to radiation intensity so as it is not overflow inside. In the lowermost there is a isolated support in a semicircular-shaped to prevent the vacuum area from directing contact with the lower outer case.
