The pie charts provide information on the yearly expenditure of a UK university on a ten year interval between 1981 to 2001.

In general, as expected, the universities' money mostly goes to paying teachers' salary and they budget less in having an insurance during the 20 year period.

To start with, in 1981, it can be noted that this university spend the most on paying their employees' wages (40% goes to teachers and the 33% goes to other staff's). Also, they use their money on buying furniture and equipments (15%) and resources like books (10%) but pay less attention in acquiring insurance (2%). Meanwhile, in 1991, the univeristy paying the teachers' salary increased substantially to 55%, while paying other staff's wages considerably dropped to 23%. The school spending on resources and insurance rose to 12% and 3% respectively, whereas the money for refurbishment decreased to 7%.

In 2001, on the other hand, showed a different distribution of expenditure. The school still allocated most of their money to pay teachers' service but it fell to 45%. Also, paying other staff further went down to 3% and resources to 5%. At this time, the univeristy spent their money more in beautifying and developing their facility which is reflected on the chart as it climed up to 24%. In addition to that, getting school insurance rose slightly to 8%.
