You saw an advert asking for volunteers to run a charity event:
1. Explain why you are interested in helping
2. give details suitable past experience
3. suggest ways you might help with the event
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter in regard to the advertisement published in the Times of India newspaper on Sunday. The advert was asking for some volunteers for a dancing event, which is going to be held on the next weekend in the town hall of the city. I would like to participate in this charity function.
I am very much interested in helping for two main reasons. First and foremost, the reason for this free service is the cause of this event is very noble because the revenue from this function will be given to various orphanages. The second reason for the participation is dancing, as it is my hobby. I like to perform various shows and it would be my pleasure if my dancing skills can be valuable to others.
I can prepare a traditional dance for my performance. The duration of the act could be 5 to 15 minutes and this can increase or decrease depending on the programme schedule. I would love to be an active volunteer for this noble deed.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Harman Kaur
