The two bar charts illustrate what students in the United Kingdom did when they finished high school or university other than full-time job in 2008.
Overall, the greatest number of graduate students continued studying and only a few people worked as volunteers; similar to the number of posgraduate students and even less posgraduate students took voluntary job.
In the one hand, the lowest number of people who finished high school did voluntary work (3.500), and even less posgraduat students chose work in the area of volunteering (345). However, almost 30.000 people whom completed high school, which was the largest number of student, went to university or another intitution and after finishing those study about 2.700 people decided to cotinue acquiring knowledge either master or doctor's degree.
In the other hand, an alarming number of graduate and posgraduate were unemployed, about 16.200 and 1.600 respectively while a important number of pleople took part time job, it taking the second place in number of students whom did not work full-time, more than 17.700 graduated and about 2.500 postgraduated students as shown in the charts.
To summarise, it is obvious that most people prefered continue studing than took any kind of work and a menority group wish work as volunteer in the already mentioned year
