Your local hospital has advertised for people to do unpaid work helping at the hospital. You would like to do some work at the hospital in your free time. Write a letter to the hospital. In your letter:
Explain why you would like to do the unpaid work at the hospital.
Say what type of unpaid work you would be able to do.
Give details when you would be available for this work.
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter in reference to your latest advertisement for volunteer work at the medical center. I am willing and able to serve in my free time I would like to take up the offer.
It has always been in my nature to help others and serve the community to the best of my ability using every given opportunity. Furthermore, I have a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology which I believe would further assist me in helping the patients at the hospital.
I would like to do the unpaid job during my spare time. I am afraid I would not be able to dedicate a fixed schedule for my services to the hospital. Therefore, I would like to contribute to work that has flexible hours. However, I would be able to come into work all seven days of the week at varying times of the day.
I appreciate for the opportunity you are giving people to give back to the community and I hope you consider me for your vacancy.
Hope to receive a quick and favourable response.
Yours sincerely,
Praneet K Nadar
