Starting with the first period from 1990 to 1995, there was a decrease in the housing prices, with Tokyo and London suffering the greatest losses at -7.5% each, and New York facing a slighter dip at -5%. On the other hand, the six years witnessed moderate price rises in Madrid and Frankfurt, +2% and +2.5% respectively.
Turning now to the next seven years, the prices in all the cities except Tokyo showed an upward trend, which was dramatic in London (nearly +13%) and least obvious in Frankfurt (+2%). Meanwhile, the prices in New York and Madrid rose by the similar proportion (roughly +5%).
