The diagram below show the stages and equipment used in the cement making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purpose.
The first diagram describes how the cement is made and what kinds of equipment are required and the second one illustrates the way that concrete is generated by cement for building purposes.
According to the first flow chart, the cement production begins with limestone and clay and ends with bags of cement. At the beginning, the raw material of limestone and clay is together put into a crusher where they are crushed into powder. Then the powder is transported to a mixer in which it is being further mixed. Through a pipe, the mixed powder is conveyed to a rotating heater and heated by a heat. Finally, the hot powder is delivered by a belt to a grinder where it is ground to cement and then the cement is packed by bags.
Turning now to the second, 15% cement is poured into a concrete mixer, together with 10% water, 25% sand and 50% gravel. After rotating for a while, the mixer will complete the production of concrete.
To summarize, the diagrams present the ways of producing cement and concrete and the tools for them.
