You are going to another country to study. You would like to do a part-time job while you are studying, so you want to ask a friend who lives there for some help.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,
Give details of your study plans
Explain why you want to get a part-time job
Suggest how your friend could help you find a job
Dear Mark,
How have you been?. It has been a long time since we last met. I have good news to share that I will be moving to Sydney next month for pursuing higher studies.
It's a One-year masters course in Biotechnology at North Cap University followed by an internship of six months at Cipla. I believe this is a golden opportunity for me to gain overseas exposure. Apart from being excited, I am nervous too as this will be my first time to Australia but I am hopeful that you will be able to guide me.
As you are aware of my family financial condition is not great and the tuition fee I need to pay for this course is hefty. I don't want to put this burden on my parents thus I would need your help to introduce me to some local consultants who can help me to find some part-time jobs. this will help me to not only pay my tuition fee but also pay for my local expenses here till the time I graduate and start work full-time.
I look forward to your response and seeing you soon.
Yours loving
Derrick
