The given table illustrates the percentages changes of usage of consumer durables bought by Britain in the past 11 years.
Comparing with 1972 and 1983, all products percentages have a steadily increase at all. The most popular durable, television, remains its high usage over the prolonged period, 98 per cent owned it in 1983. Other top two popular products are refrigerator and washing machine, which percentages rose 21 per cent and 14 per cent each at 1983.
