You and your family are living in rented accommodation in an English speaking country. You are not satisfied with the condition of some of the furniture.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
-introduce yourself
-explain what is wrong with the furniture
-say what action you would like the landlord to take
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ................. ,
Dear Sonia,
I hope this letter meet you in good health. I am writing you this letter to express my dissatisfaction with the state of some of the furnitures in our rented apartment.
my name is Wayne Rooney, we work in the same department in Halliburton. I am the new guy that was transferred in from Nigeria last month.
The condition of some of the furniture in our accommodation are appalling. The door of the kitchen cabinet is broken and as a result of this, it can't be closed, the cupboard in my wife bedroom are worn out and disgusting. Also, the legs the chairs and tables in the sitting room are either cracked or broken. Consequently, they can't be sit on or used.
I would like the suggest that the landlord should fix these broken furniture within two weeks or I would be forced to ask for a refund of my rent.
Best wishes
Wayne Rooney
