The historical building in your place is in bad condition. Write to the local government. In your letter
Why the building is important
what is the present condition
what actions must be taken
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing ti outline an area I feel our city could improve. Please allow me to elaborate. The only ancient building that remained in our city is in poor condition. Given that our economy depends on tourism to a larger extent, it is of primary importance to maintain its appearance.
Acid rains and cold weather have had a negative impact on masonry. Chunks of stones that have fallen off could be found in the area nearby. Moreover, the paint chipped off the pinnacles, which made it look hideous. Many people expressed their concern about the condition of the building, as it is not safe to walk around it. To make matters worse, flying buttress are no longer attached to walls, which will result in the church being damaged further.
Regarding action that needs to be taken, I would appreciate if you restricted access and started restoring it. Money could be raised with the help of the city's largest charitable organization. I hope you will consider my suggestions.
I look forward to seeing the results.
