The table shows the percentage of people with mobile phones who use various features on their phone
The table presents the proportion of people owning mobile phones that have various functions. Overall, it is evident that making calls was a popular feature on mobile phones which almost people used over three different years.
It can be seen from the table that making calls function was used by all people owning mobile phones in 2006 and 2008 and this feature slightly decreased in 2010. The second most common feature was sending and receiving text messages increasing from 73 percent in 2006 to 79 percent in 2010. Similarly, the percentage of people using taking photos function also rose by 10 percent throughout that period.
Conversely, playing games, searching the Internet, playing music and recording videos features was used by just under 50 percent of all users. Searching the Internet and recording videos functions did not have data which was given for 2006, but there was a significant increase in the number of people using from 2008 to 2010. While, playing games and music features also gradually grew over a period of 4 years.
