The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010

The given diagram illustrates the percentage of Australian men and women who were having exercise on regular basis in 2010. Overall, it can be seen from the bar graph that proportion of the men and women doing physical activity from age 15 to 65 and over was fluctuating in 2010.
As it is obvious from the bar chart that the percentage of men was declining as they were growing older by the age 44 (52.8% to 39.5%). However, proportion of men from age 45 to 65 and over were increasing(43.1% to 46.7%). On the contrary, proportion of women who were doing exercise in 2010 was increasing as they were getting aged by the age of 54(47.7% to 53.3%). And then from age group 55 to 64 and 65 and over, women's proportion who were doing exercise saw a fall (53% to 47.1%). it can be seen from the graph trend that young men were more active than women in Australia in 2010. In contrast, women of age 35 and above were more active as compared to men of same age cohorts.
