Essay topics:

The first car appeared on British roads in 1888. By the year 2000 there may be as many as 29 million vehicles on British roads.
Alternative forms of transport should be encouraged and international laws introduced to control car ownership and use.
To what extend do you agree or disagree

Vehicles are one of the most useful inventions in human history. On the one hand, they can make people’s lives easier and more comfortable, on the other hand, they harm the environment and the people through releasing many poisonous gases to the atmosphere. that being so, while I mostly agree that alternative forms of transport should be encouraged, I still believe that some international laws must be enacted and implemented in a way that those alternative forms do not violate basic human rights and liberties.

First and foremost, either because of lack of public transportations or their uncomfortable conditions, people tend to use their own car. In this modern and technological world, producing a car take just 10 seconds and people have an opportunity to find a car which suitable for all budget. also, due to low prices of gas people can drive hundreds of miles away and it cost almost lower than public transportation’s tickets. For instance, when I moved to the USA I was living in nashville and I had a language school in Murfreesboro taking 45 minutes from nashville by a car. I did not have any car, therefore, to go to school, I had to wake up 5 am and change 3 different buses to arrive at my school at 8:30 am. I could tolerate this situation just 1 week and then I had to buy a car giving my whole savings. If there was a good transportation network, I would rather ogto school with buses. that being so, public transportations should be extended such as trains, buses, tram etc. to reduce the harmfulness of using cars.

With respect to international laws, I always support rules making life easier and livable. Restriction or trying to control automobile companies is not going to tackle problems, it can create other problems such as either big automobile companies can try to resist to obey those rules or have to fire their employees because of their economic problems. As far as I am concerned, making international laws which sponsoring big companies can solve this problem sufficiently. For the sake of example, cars which able to work with electric such as some of Tesla’s cars can solve the scarcity of fuels, atmosphere pollution and even sound pollution. I am sure that people will able to find many solutions along with technological improving but for now, producing cars working with electric is the best idea.

To sum up, even cars population have been increasing day by day, technology is also improving as the same level. therefore, both people should be encouraged about extending public transportation numbers and varieties and they should help big companies producing cars working with electric by their international laws. those processes will not only make our life healthier but also we are going to left a more livable world to our children.
