The bar chart illustrates the quantities of six types of books which are borrowed im Lammertown Public Library in 1991 and 2001 whereas the pie graph represents the proportion of both genders in 2010.
Overall, it is evident that while in both aforementioned years, the number of romance books was the highest figures, the rate for language books was lowest. In the second chart, obviously, the percentage of women was higher than that of men.
In the first chart, it can be seen that in 1991 and 2001, the majority of people borrowed romance books ( 1000 and 1400 books respectively). By contrast, there was approximately 150 language books which were borrowed in 1991 and in 2001, this figure increased to 200 books. Besides, the growth of self improvement books was one of the most prominent statistics ( from 200 to a thousand books) from 1991 to 2001. The pie chart indicated the proportion of both genders in library membership in 2010. While the quantity of men constituted 32%, the statistic for women prevailed ( about 68 %).
