The bar graph highlights the number of Australian female and male in various age groups who did the usual physical activity in 2010.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that Australian woman exercised more regularly than men ones in 2010. However, only at the youngest age group in which the ratio about working out of the men was higher than the women ones.
It is clear that about 50% of the women aged from 25 to 64 did regular physical activity in 2010 compared to lower figures among men. With 39.5% men did exercise at the age 35 to 44, this was the lowest figure of the chart. Meanwhile, the ratio of women doing usual physical activity between 45 and 55 ages accounted for 53.3%, the highest figure of the chart. In addition, at the ages from 25 to 34 women were still more active than men.
As for the age group from 15 to 24, this was the only age group in which the proportion of men did regular physical activity was higher than women ones, at 52.8 % and 47.7 % respectively. Meanwhile, this figure was almost the same for women and men at the 65 and over age group , at 47.1% and 46.7% respectively.
