The pie chart illustrate that the two gender employee get select in different occupation and in UK in 1992.
It is clear that, proportion for Female shows that non-manual work was most popular among them while for male, it looks quite similar for both place. The notable factor is, Male got job in crafts was higher than female.
As the graph shows, according to manual work, only 31% women worked in all manual categories while the number for male was much higher, at 52%. The pivotal difference was in craft and similar position. The figure for male employee around at 24% which was 8 times greater than women at 3% in same categories. Meanwhile, In terms of other manual work and general labours, there was same proportion for both at 26% and 2% for both gender.
Furthermore, about Non-manual work place, 29% female employee get opportunity to work in managerial and professional compared with 36% for male worker. Lastly, the huge difference found on the position of clerical types in which female work had 31% while only 6% for male. In addition, other Non-manual work, had only 9% female worker.
