The chart below shows the percentage of male and female teachers in six different types of educational setting in the UK in 2010.
A breakdown of changes in the proportion of educator in all level of school between men and women in England in 2010 is depicted by the bar graph. Overall, the number of male tutor ranked first in 3 categories, while the others were led by female. the highest figure for men and women were reported in University and pre school respectively.
Initially, there was a significant disparity between both genders in the first 2 type of educational setting, with the former standing with just under 100%. In term of secondary school, the figure for gent teacher was just over 40% as opposed to around a half in the opposite gender.
It is clear that, the percentage of male and female tutor in college were equal, with exactly fifty percent. In the next level, men educator was more dominant than women (about approximately 50% and more than two fifth respectively). The gap between them had successfully widened out in the highest level of academic institution.
