When schools do not have enough funding or teachers, some people think physical education classes should be cut, while others believe that courses in art and music should be eliminated first. Which do you think is preferable, and why
physical education plays an integral part in the growth of an individual. it is really important for a school or university to carry out physical education programs and not eliminating them entirely because of shortage of funds. To me, this is important for the following two reasons that I will mention in the essay.
Firstly, during these classes, the children are taught various things which they can inculcate in their life. For example, being part of a basketball, football or volleyball team teaches the person a lot about the teamwork, handling failure, leadership and how to work with strength and weaknesses of their peers. When I played basketball in my school, I was an ace player and one of the team member who was also my friend wasn't so good at it. I helped her out learning the tricks and helped her with the sport because it just felt right.
Secondly, PE aids the individual in maintaining high quality health. To this day, my father has an exceptional mental and physical wellness owing to the fact that he played Cricket. I know for a fact, that the importance of sports has been emphasised by science way too many times. sports assists in increasing not just our memory retaining power, but also boosts confidence and relieve stress. it is a known truth that an individual engaging in games is known to have great capacity to learn and memorize something quickly.
For these reasons, I strongly think that despite lack of funds, physical education should not be removed beause it brings about mental health and build personality.
