The bar chart illustrates how the internet was used by females in the United State between 2000 and 2001.
Overall, it is clear that the internet was popular for young female, compared to elderly women. 16-18 years old was the highest percentage of social use in the year 2001 while in 2000, the internet was the most popular for the youngest age group.
The use of the internet by females was decreased slightly by nearly 10% between 12-15 and 19-24 age groups between two years. There was a dramatic rise in the percentage of internet use of women people who are in the middle ages.
16-18 age group accounted for the biggest percentage of internet users in the year 2001, while in the 65+ age group, this trend was reverted. There had unchanged in the number of internet access of 19-24 age group. Internet use has risen slightly in the 25-35 age group, which was almost 76% to 80% between 2000 and 2001 respectively.
