The bar graph illustrates the percentage of men and women of different age brackets in australia who engaged in regular physical activity in the year of 2010.
Overall trend suggests that apart from the 15 to 24 age group, women of australia exercise more frequently in the subsequent age groups.
In the age group of 15 to 24, the men are ahead of the women by 4 percent at 52.8 percent. This number plummets to 42.2 percent where as the women stay intact at 48.9 percent in the 25 to 34 age bracket , thus putting the women ahead by 6 percent.
The women show consistent decrease in physical activity over the groups of 35 to 44, 45 to 54 and 55 to 64 with a difference of 13 percent, 10 percent and 8 percent respectively. In the final age bracket of 65 and above the the difference is reduced to a mere 1 percent.
