The picture below illustrates the evolution of the tools, which were made by stone and used for cutting, in the Stone Age, in 1.4 million and 0.8 million years ago.
Overall, tool B was bigger and even sharper than tool A. Both tools were shown and compared in three different views.
Looking at the front view, tool A was length about eight centimeters and was rougher with the deformation of its peripheral. By contrast, tool B, which looked like the number of smaller stones combined together, was longer nearly three centimeters than the first one and had the shape like dropping water.
In the side view, while the tool A tended to be roughed and had the form like an animal tooth, tool B was smoother, sharper and looked like a stick. Looking at the back view, tool B was larger and sharper and had the shape like an ax while tool A was harsher and did not have clear form.
