The various activities that children in UK spent on their free time throughout 2014 is given in the bar chart. The data is measured in percentages. Over all, it can be clearly seen that watching TV or videos was the most popular activities.
On the on hand, there were three activities that had high participation rate. Firstly, UK children spent time watching TV or videos. The percentages were equal for boys and girls at 100%, the highest figures. Next, playing electronic or computer games was more popular for boys than girls at 80% and 60%. Similarly, the percentage of cycling in boys was around 20% higher than girls, at about 78%.
On the other hand, two activities were not much popular for children in UK. To begin with, the participation rate of skateboarding or rollerblading was the lowest. This activity was more interested in boys than girls at about 38 and 25. In contrast, the percentage of boys who did art and craft was around 25% lower than girls, at 58%.
