Moreover, the line graph also provides trends in consumer price index in this time. Over all, it can be clearly seen that all figures had a significant rise by the end of the period.
To start with the beginning of the period, in 1970, all prices of products increased gradually at about 65 before started to fluctuated moderately at the same time between 1979 and 1985 around 85-90.
After 1985, the prices of fresh fruits and vegetables rose dramatically from roughly 110 to reach the peak of 340 in 2008, then it was expected to decline by the end of period. However, fresh fruits and vegetables always had a higher prices than consumer-price index. Next, there was a slight growth between 1985 and 2009 in the prices of sugar and sweet and carbonated drinks from 100 to 200 and 100 to 150 respectively, still lower than consumer-price index throughout the period.
