The given pie graphs compare the proportion of water use in Sydney by five different fields in both 1997 and 2007
Overall, it is evident that the use of water in the household, as well as the service industry, has increased significantly in 2007 when compared with 1997, whereas, those figures for other sectors have fallen.
According to the graphs show, the majority of the water was used in the food industry, reaching the highest rates of 48% in 1997, but then dropped by 7 percent in 2007. With the service industry, however, water used was lowest in 1997, before experiencing the fastest growth by 2007, at least twice as high as those for this.
On the other hand, there was a dramatic decrease in both the building industry and manufacturing over the period show. These percentages were 5 and 15 percent respectively in 1997, after falling by 3 percent with the building industry and 4 percent with manufacturing by 2007. Household used water to account for 18 percent in 1997 and go went by 2 percent at the same time
