Overall, it is noticeable that both citizen from united kingdom and Sweden who initially had highest emission of carbon dioxide witnessed a decline whereas Italian and Portuguese who had lowest emission of carbon dioxide experienced an increase over the period shown.
In 1967, the average of carbon dioxide breathed out by united kingdom citizen stood at approximately 11metric tonnes. The figure that declined steadily to 10 metric tonnes after 20 years. Above 4 and 8 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide was emitted by Italian and Swedese. However, Portuguese was just under 2 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide breathed out by one person.
Emission of carbon dioxide from Portuguese and Italian saw a steady increase to reach below 6 metric tonnes and 8 metric tonnes respectively in 1979 and remained stable for the rest of the period shown. Emission from swedenese that initially peaked at above 10 metric tonnes experienced a sharp decline to the same point with Portuguese peak (below 6 metric tonnes). From 1987 to 2007, emission of carbon dioxide person from united kingdom witnessed a plug to just above 8 metric tonnes. In 1987,average emission of carbon dioxide from Italian overtook that of his counterpart from Sweden.
