Dear Jay,
I am writing this letter to invite to celebrate our traditional festival with us this year. While we were studying together last year, you promised to visit me and believe me this is the best time of the year to come to Pakistan.
While Eid is our religious festival and we celebrate it, when Ramadan which is an Islamic month has finished. On the Eid day, we clean our houses, cook delicious meals, and invite our kith and kin. And the most interesting thing is that children receive money as a gift from elders at this festival.
What is more, in our country, people from all walks of life celebrate it with great enthusiasm. As, it is a great opportunity for people to come closer to each other, leave behind their grievances, and forgive each other. This is lots of fun and frolic.
Moreover, attending this event will be of great importance for you because, as I know, it would be helpful for your thesis project which is about globalization. However, in Pakistan you will come to know that we have not forgotten over traditions.
We would be honored to have you at home as our guest. I assure you we will make it a memorable holiday for you.
Hoping to see you soon!
