A person's worth nowadays seems to be judged according to social status and material possessions. Old-fashioned values, such as honour, kindness and trust, no longer seem important.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
The worldly era have laid a solid foundation in the superficial judgement of people towards the worth of one individual. Social status and material possession seems to become the first norm to evaluate one person on value scale while the traditional values are opted as further even none consideration. I totally disagree with the viewpoint
On the one hàn, it is inevitable that people are judged by the social hierachies and worldly goods. To begin with, the enhancement in gaps among several status entwined in advanced country make the norm become more evident and reasonable than ever. By contrast, these two factors are not the sole ones to be considered on one's worthy scale. The value of one individual is also based on social experience, achievement or social contributions.
On the other hand, tradition is the core àn basic norm to judge the value of one person. The material possession standards may suit the presence world but they are likely to change and unstable, old-fashioned in the new era with the mushgrowing of new factores. Secondly, from social perspective, conventional value are perfect stepping stone to facilitate the society to the flourishing and cilization.
In conclusion, there is no doubt the prevalence of the material standards. The old-fashioned values are also important,
