Overall, international tourism is the highest source of revenue over the period given, while meat products are the lowest earning exports.
In 2000, international tourism generated by far the biggest earning at approximately £8 billion whereas the lowest were meat products at £6 billion. However, this year dairy product has become the leading main exports which earnings grew by about £3 billion to nearly £10 billion and meat products remained to have the least generated revenue at roughly £5.7billion.
By 2025, international tourism is predicted to peak its earning at almost £10 billion to become the highest income generating export. Revenue from meat products will decrease to a low of £5 billion while a slight drop of around £2 billion could be seen on dairy products.
