You work for an international company. You have seen an advertisement for a training course which will be useful for your job.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter
• describe the training course you want to do
• explain what the company could do to help you
• say how the course will be useful for your job
Dear Mr. Hasani,
I am writing with regard to a new educational course I have met at the AMT website and I am writing to ask for your kind permission to apply for this course.
As I mentioned, I saw this advertisement at the AMT website which as you now is offering the most modern technology in the file of gas turbine manufacturing. This course is about the last version of the protective coating of the gas turbine component and this is the reason that I am really keen on to apply. According to the curriculum, a different type of coating would be introduced and discussed as well as the state-of-the-art of repair method.
I would appreciate it if you permit me to attend this course. Since it would be held in their company for 5 days, I need to travel there which requires a valid visa and arranging for accommodation.
With regard to the benefits of this course, I should say that a great deal of knowledge would be transferred which leads to significant development in our production process. In other words, I estimate that most of our questions will be answered and the quality of our products will boost considerably.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for your consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Yalda Asgari.
