The diagrams below show the design for a wave-energy machine and its location.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You should write at least 150 words.
The above diagram illustrates the working model of a wave energy machine and it's location options. The first diagram explains the generation of electricity by rotation of the turbine. The second diagram illustrates the amount of electricity can be generated by setting up in two different locations.
A Wave energy machine consists, two chambers, an electricity generator , and a turbine. The two turbines are divided into upper chamber and lower chamber. The amount of water and its wave flew inside lower chambers exerts pressure and causes air to pass in and out of the upper chamber from the lower chamber. The upper chamber has a turbine attached to the electricity generator and the amount of air passing inside the upper chamber results in the generation of electricity and it is stored inside the electricity generator.
The locations setup of wave energy machines plays a major role in the output of electricity. If a machine is set up near the water bed and its installation cost is cheaper compared to the machines which are planted where the water current is more. Likewise, the output is more where water wave movements are more and vice-versa.
In this way, we can understand the working model of wave machine based on its geo locations.
