The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
The line graph illustrates how many enquiries (in person, by letter/email and by telephone) the Tourist information office in a certain city received between January and June in 2011.
Overall, in-person enquiry showed a steady but significant rose in the period, while by email or letter query experienced a downward trend. Telephone enquiry had some fluctuations. Though the least amount enquiries were received in person in January, however, in the end it became the highest number received
On the one hand, person enquiry in the month of Jan was about 420 and it the least one in the starting month and the next following months it rose significantly 600 and 800 respectively. Between Mar to Apr person query increase dramatically to around 1250. At the end of the period, it holds the maximum number of queries. with around 1900. However, through letter or email queries showed a gradual decreases in Jan it is accounted for just below 800 and in the Feb it slight decreases to almost 700. From Feb to Mar email or letter enquiries were stagnant. Between Mar to May, it plummeted under 400 and in Jun it is stagnant as the same previous month and it holds the least number of queries received at the end of the period.
On the other hand, starting the month of the Jan it holds the highest number of telephone queries received with more than 800 and subsequent month also it received maximum number when compared to others while it decreased to previous month to 800. In Mar, it rose to 1000 and still holds highest number queries but the next month it was stagnant and the person query moved to highest enquiry. Between Apr to Jun, telephone enquiries rose gradually and at the end of the period, it rose to 1600.
