Overall, it can be seen that male teenagers have the greatest distant travel by bicycles, while the oppose figure for this can be seen in the youngest girl group. Over the years, there is an downward trend in the use of bicycles.
In the first year of the research, male between 11 and 17 years old account for the largest distance of travel by bike, at 226 miles per person annually. In contrast, there is only 18 miles of distance travelled in the baby girl group. Women in the age group of 18-59 and all elderly people have the same distance travel, which is 3 miles higher than the figure for the youngest boy group. Men who are between 18 and 59 age group have a larger in the use of bike for transportation, compared to the female 11-17 age group, which is 71 and 56 miles respectively.
In comparison, the use of bicycles decrease dramatically in all age group in the last year of the survey, except for the male 18-59 age group, which increase 8 miles compared to the first year. Similarly, the distance of all cyclists drop to only 38 miles per year per person in the year 25.
