Your parents will be celebrating their 40th anniversary next month. You are planning a big celebration, but you are not sure how to make the occasion really memorable.
Write to a friend, who is a professional event planner. In your letter:
explain why the occasion is special
ask for her assistance
set up a time to meet at your friend's convenience to discuss your plans
Dear Martha,
I am writing to let you know that I wish to celebrate 40th anniversary of my parents in Grand style. However, I am clueless how to organise the party so that it remains in their memories forever. Hence, I would require support and experience to make the event successful.
Let me explain it to you in detail, I am flying in February to Australia for my further studies and may not be able to return India for few years. Hence, I want to do something unique for my parents, so that they cherish the moments while I am not here. Moreover, since my childhood they have always celebrated the special days of my life and now I believe it is my time to return the favour.
As soon as I was convinced of the idea, the first name that came into my mind was yours. I would like you to help and support me throughout the process as I am quite fascinated by the way you organise such events.
I would highly appreciate if you could take time out of your hectic work schedule and assist me. Waiting to hear from you soon.
Love & regards,
Kutub.
