The diagram below shows how a central heating system in a house works.
The diagram illustrates the operation of a central heating system in a house.
Overall, the heating system uses mainly a boiler, a pump and water which is heated and circulated throughout the pipe.
First, cold water is filled in the water tank of the house. Following this, the water transfers the water to the storage tank with the use of an overflow pipe. Then, the boiler uses gas or oil to boil and heat the water supplied from the storage tank. After the water is boiled, the hot water is pumped throughout the hot water radiators and small tubes which then warms the temperature of rooms.
Once, the hot water has been through pipes and radiators, it is then returned back to the boiler which again boils the water. In addition, the hot water is also transferred into some taps located in the house.
