Recently, I happened to read a friend's article on Facebook about Write and Improve, a brand-new tool that helps learners of English with writing skills. This is obviously good news for me since I am currently studying for the IELTS test.
The most impressive feature of the website is that there is a wide range of topics that I can easily practice my writing. More importantly, after completing my work, the website will give me detailed feedback on the strengths and weaknesses that need to be improved. This is definitely essential for me as a learner of English as a second language when I might make mistakes occasionally. Furthermore, Write and Improve gives insights into my writing in terms of structuring my sentences and how to use appropriate vocabulary.
Nevertheless, this website is only fully functional in the premium version, which means users have to pay to make full use of it. Users, however, can get feedback on some limited tasks on the website. On the other hand, there is also no compulsory time limit for all writing tasks. As a result, users may use more time than the amount of time they are supposed to have to fulfill the task and this may not guarantee the accuracy of the assessment.
