You rented a car from a company and while you were driving on holiday, you had a small accident. You will have to write a letter to the company and in your letter.
Explain when and from where you rented it
Describe how the accident happened
what kind of action did you take after the accident
I am writing to inform you about a minor accident happened using your vehicle, which took place yesterday. I have filed a complaint in police station against the culprit.
On 12th February, I had rented a car from the wallstreet, mumbai branch of your company. I requested for a sedan cars as will be along with my family going on 3 days out-station trip. While, returning home, we halted at a restaurant for refreshments, where a biker tried to pass through, between the wall and our vehicle. In this process, he broke the passenger side rearview mirror and flew away.
However, luckily, my wife had noted the bikers license plate number, and lodged a complaint against him in ring road police station. A copy of the car rental and police complaint is enclosed with this letter. The broken rear view mirror has been kept in the cars trunk. I assume, the mirror can be fix using the same handle.
In case, any further information required. Please, feel free to contact me on my mobile number mention in the rental form.
Yours faithfully,
Abhishek Agrawal
