The reading and the lecture are both about achieving goals of a new project by group work. The author of the reading feels that tram work has some advantages. The lecturer challenge the claims made by the author. He is of the opinion that group work may have some disadvantages.

To begin with, the author argues that a group of people has a wide vraiety of abilities and potentials. The article mentions that people’s ability like their knowledge, skills, and expertise are more helpful than a singel indivisual. This specific argument is challenged by the lecturer. He claims that the contribution in a group is questionable because some people tend to --- from working, so the pressure is on the other member of the group. In addition, it is so hard to identify who did their job well and who did not. As a result, it is too difficult to evaluate each person’s productivity because the result of the whole group is considered. Therefore, it seems that those members who have done their job well are unsatisfied.

Secondly, the writer suggests that a group can accelerate in their job more quickly because everyone can do a --- of work . In the article it is said that due to the fact that every member in the group play a role in the final decision, so if the decision goes wrong no singel individual is not consider as culpirt. The lecturer, however, rebuts this by mentioning that having a bunch a people for getting a work done is not helpful. He elaborates on this by bringing up the point that many meetings must have to be made for --- and ----, so it definitely takes much more time. Additionally, hs mentions that in every group, one or two of the members are typically more infulencal than others. They may concur with a plan that is not مفید and because they are influencer, the decision may have be made. On the other hand, if on of the member propose a plan which the influencers do not like it, the whole group ignore their idea. Therefore, if the idea goes wrong, its fail is on the group as whole not the influencers.
