The reading passage state that, four days work in the week is good idea for increasing the profits of companies. However, the professor in the lecture casts doubt on the points express in the passage.
First, the reading consider that fewer hours work is so effective and increase performance of employees and reduce the rate of errors, in contrast, the professor contradicts the idea and further explains that the protype with this view can't makes cost less and in addition, this idea need more money as a additional costs like training, medicine, off space, etc.
Second, the reading claims that decrease in the incoming of employees can help that remaining money spend for hiring more staff admittedly, the speaker justified the information presented in the article and make point that this idea is unpleasant for workers because they probably think it is not fair and in this atmosphere efficiency will fall.
Third, the author in reading puts forward that the idea can reducing rate of unemployment in society, on the other hand, the speaker validates the point and adds that this approach has some risks and maybe its harm be more than its advantage and also this idea force some costs for supervision of employees.
