You have been selected for a training course on computer skills that you cannot attend. Write a letter to your employer and say:
Explain how this training course would help you
Why won’t you be able to attend it
Suggest a way to have that training again
Dear Sir,
My name is Jot and I am a senior software engineer. I am writing to thank you for selecting me for this training but I would not be able to attend the training program arranged by the company.
This computer-aided design (CAD) course training program which is going to start next Friday in the offices meeting hall at 10:00 am will help me in making designs as per the demand of the clients. This program will not only equip with graphic design features but also decrease my dependency on graphic designers. Apart from all this, the system will become more centralized.
Unfortunately, I would not be able to attend the course because I have to leave for a meeting with the client in Delhi on Friday and will be back by Monday only. If the project details would be as per our norms then it might extend my time period of stay.
I would like to say kindly arrange the course either online in the evening so that I can access it while sitting in Delhi or delay the course for at least one week.
I look forward to hearing the best way you choose to get a training program.
Yours Faithfully,
Jot
