The line graph illustrates, the population of four different kinds of turtles in 22years from 1980 to 2012 in India. Unit is measured in index.
Overall, it can be seen that the Olive Ridely Turtles have experienced an upward trend while Leatherback Turtles saw an opposite trend for the whole period. Green Turtles and All species have showed a fluctuation in the figures of index.
The amount of Olive Ridely Turtles started at just 100 in 1980. This figure accelerated which was over 135 in 1997 but in the end of the time 2012 this figure was dropped back up to 130. In 1980, Leatherback Turtles started with the similar figure as Olive Ridely Turtles which remained stable till 1984 but it slowly inclined to approximately 112 in 1987 after this it fall down to almost 55 in 2010 and it remained constant till 2012.
Green Turtles and all species of turtles remained approximately the same until 1992 by the following years all species of turtles have left behind the Green turtles till the end of juncture which was 20.
