You and your family are planning to spend a weekend at a seaside hotel.
Task: Write a letter to the hotel making the arrangements. Let them know when you will be arriving and leaving, what type of rooms you would like, and ask them how much the weekend will cost. Also enquire about activities and places of interest near the hotel.
Dear Sir,
I am writing this to book the hotel for a long weekend and also want to enquire about certain things about the hotel before confirming the booking.
Actually, cousin is about to shift to Canada in a few days hence, we have planned a family trip together to spend some time and gave her this surprise. I want to book the hotel from 7 May 2020 to 11 May 2020 and we will be arriving around 2:30 pm. We will the hotel on Monday at 11:00 am.
We need four duplex bedrooms equipped with air-conditioning, television and also a big bathtub in the bathroom. We will be eight in number that means four newly married couples. I have checked the rooms online and I was very impressed by reviews of the duplex rooms. I would like to enquire how much it cost for this weekend and either meal are included or not.
I would also like to know what kinds of activities are available in the hotel. What are the most interesting places to visit? What kind of food is famous over there? Please send me details on kjot59@gmail.com.
I look forward to your immediate reply.
Yours Faithfully,
Jot
